Team Standing Cyclist

Team Standing Cyclist is a community of cyclists, runners, kayakers, walkers and other competitive and recreational athletes who use their passion for sports as a vehicle for positive change around the world. We are a community that rolls, runs, strolls and swims to raise awareness and funds for special causes that have touched our lives in some important way. Through our website and social media presence, Team Standing Cyclist shares inspiring information about favorite organizations, the champions they assist, and the hero athletes who support them. We also encourage others to participate in existing fundraising events or launch a new event of their own.

StandingCyclist.com was founded by Standing Cyclist, Frank Angelo Cavaluzzi, who symbolically trains and rides a seat-less fixed-gear bicycle to raise awareness for Team Standing Cyclist and special causes close to his heart. Learn more about this “standing” style of riding he calls Rolling (a cross between running and cycling), managing and overcoming Allergic Asthma, and his past and upcoming tours in the
U.S. and abroad.

Use your passion for fitness and sports as a tool to change the world. Come join our team.

Check out our iStand for Rose event page for trip details, photos, and facts about Spinal Muscular Atrophy and the Families of SMA. Learn how you too can Stand Up for those challenged by this devastating disease.
